Default 4th Queen's Own Hussars

Gentlemen,

How are you? I assume this badge is a fake. I have no clear criteria to come to this conclusion however it does not feel/look right to me. Am I correct in this or is it contrary to my feeling, an original badge? Thank you for your help.

Cheers, Tom

I would not be happy with that example, although, I am not sure just from the photographs that it is a fake, I would certainly want to replace it, they were worn for quite a period of time, getting a typical example with fine detail and holes to it's reverse should not prove difficult.

Yep it’s a fake die, check the rounded and outrageous lettering and dull detail also the slider shape looks like that you often encounter on fakes
