Default Kipling and King Vol 2 old copy or new copy?

Hi,
I'm about to purchase a copy of Kipling and King's, Head-Dress Badges Of The British Army. Volume Two and wondered if there was any difference between an original copy, published in 1979 or the modern version published by Naval & Military Press Ltd.
Thanks in advance

The quality of the pictures is poorer in the modern one.

Doug, I've just this weekend replace my modern vol 2 with a first edition 1979, picture quality is much better in the old book.
Cheers Tony.

Thanks guys, just the sort of information I wanted. I'll go with the old version, the price difference seems to be negligible anyway, hence the question.

Saying that I have a K & K issue that was brought up to date (1995) but I have not seen this other one you have mentioned.

I'm ever so glad to have replaced my N&M press copies with earlier versions, the difference has made it absolutely worthwhile.

Rgds, Thomas.
