Interesting Northamptonshire Yeomanry Uniforms
Picked up a selection of interesting uniforms to the Northamptonshire Yeomanry this week.
1) 49 Pattern Battledress bearing Sgts chevrons, white metal NCOs arm badge, white metal collar badges, formation badges for 56th Division and embroidered Northamptonshire Yeomanry shoulder titles. Medal ribbons for 1953 Coronation, Efficiency Medal (Territorial) and Efficiency Medal (Territorial & Army Volunteer Reserve)
2) 49 Pattern Battledress bearing Anodised Northamptonshire Yeomanry titles, embroidered Northamptonshire Regiment titles, 49th Division Formation badges, (black felt strip on right arm between formation badge and rank chevrons), Sgt chevrons. Marks where collar badges have been, medal ribbon for Efficiency Medal (Territorial)
3) Officers service dress with Captains rank (anodised), Anodised NY title, white metal collar badges, anodised NY buttons, blue plaited lanyard, medals ribbons for MBE (Military), 1939-45 War Medal, Defence Medal and Regular Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal.
