The RNF is a shoulder title, post 1935. It appears to have been plated with some kind of gilt finish, or is it perhaps an early version of an anodized title?
Not sure what the Cameronians is, perhaps for a pouch or cross belt. These have been faked heavily and I am sure someone will confirm whether it is fake or not.

Could the Cameroonian badge be an officers one?

The Cameronians looks like a Officer's Pouch Belt Plate 1902 - 1952.

I have one, I was told it was a pouch badge 1903-1953, but I don't think it's genuine though I'd be happy if it is.

And..... here's mine.

Solid construction, 3 non footed loops, nice patina and a purple backing cloth?

I was going to sell mine but was under the impression it was a fantasy badge so havent so far, but if people think its a genuine badge?

regards

Hi Simon why the Purple backing ?? I consider Purple as for Chaplins and such?

The badge I have has Verdigree (or similar) on the 5 pointed Star uppermost right arm, and like you have thought it to be a made up badge, solid construction 3 good lugs and these look good too.

Be nice if someone out there knows its story?

All the best billy
