Default T ASC LF on Ebay

Somebody clue me in as to why A two part shoulder title on ebay went for £565.its not in Westlake and looks like an easy make up from a T ASC part and a simple LF shoulder title on a backing plate.Perhaps i`m missing something ,but it seems a bit excessive.

Its a rare title but I thought it should by 1 piece.

I could make one of those in a few minutes.

Also seen T/ASC/grenade/LF

regards

Cool T/ASC/LF

Whilst I will not query the authenticity of this title, I do wonder whether bidders actually consult any of the books on the subject, Ray Westlake says they wore T/ASC/E.LANCASHIRE or T/ASC/MANCHESTER, now I'm sure Ray did some homework before he put print to paper.

A few months back a T/ASC title went for a large sum on ebay which was never really authenticated, it may well have been original, but I for one want good authentification before paying vast sums.

What I can say is that I have had in the past an original WW1 photo showing the title in use.

Does someone have the ASC/RASC badge book to see what that says.

Simon.

Was the photo you saw a one-piece badge?

There was a large T|ASC titles feature in the HMRS not so long ago. As soon as I get a chance I'll dig it out unless anyone can put their hands on it sooner.
