Forceman
There is a great photograph 0n ebay now, one that you don't see often or not likely to see again, It is to a Tech Sergeant in the First Special Service Force, the photograph itself is in poor shape but the man looks like he has been wounded 4 times if that's what the short horizontal stripes mean, The fellow is an American (US) and is wearing his medals. Anyone that collects photos should grab this one although it is pricey. I have never seen a photograph of a Forceman either US or Canadian. The item # is 350065321515.

The four horizontal bars represent service bars (6 or 12 months, can't remember) The US presented the Purple Heart medal for wounds and oak leaf clusters for additional awards.
When Ken Joyce's book on the FSSF is published next year you will see lots of photos of Forcemen.

Thanks Service pub for setting me straight, I should have known that, I worked on their bases for 6 years. That should be a great book, I've seen so little on the FSSF, I've got the book :The Devils Brigade; & that's all. Ray
