Default ASC tunic pre-ww1 what collar badges do I need??

Dear forum members, I have just acquired an ASC tunic which is pre-WW1. I have noticed that it has holes in the collar, but I do not know what collar badges to buy. Any help/pictures/photos would be much appreciated. Best wishes, Mark.http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...1&d=1470851183

A close-up of one of the buttons would be useful.

Default Holes in tunic collar

By the way the holes are 15mm apart on the collar. Cheers

You will need either the 1901-11 pattern collar badges or the post 1911 ones, depending on the age of the tunic.

Default ASC Tunic

Not that long ago I picked up a OR's tunic & trs, with the tailors stickers still on them dated 1913 , unissued and it had general service buttons on the tunic also came with a "girdle" stable belt, whoever it was made for was a very small fellow possibly a boy soldier.
Cheers Bob

Hiya Gents,

I've attached an image of the ASC OR's collar badges that should be fitted to the Tunic above.

I've noticed that all of the ASC Tunics that I've come across (in images and at militaria events) have the GSC buttons fitted for wear by OR's, NCO's & SNCO's and I believe that the ASC buttons you see for sale everywhere are for wear by Officers & WO's on their dress.

Note also the ASC (Officers Best Dress Collars)

Cheers
