A lot of rural areas have changed dramatically over the past 100 years , is it possible that during the Victorian era wealthy landowners/cattle breeders had estates/manor houses in the area ?

The google map shows the area now but maps from 1900 show a different picture , Darlink Moor is shown on current maps but Darlink itself is clearly marked on early maps.
