Hi
Can anyone ID this small cloth i got with a job lot of ww1 and ww2 cloth and cap badges from an old soldier who has sadly passed on. It measure about 4.5 cm top to bottom, about 3cm across. Many thanks Pete |

Hi Pete,
It is very similar to a Sussex Yeomanry example but without the broken spur. I'm sure someone will know more. Please let me know if you are looking to move it on. KR, Pete |

Diamonds of this type were worn on the sleeve by members of the ATS to show their Corps affiliation, this I suppose would be for the RASC.

That makes sense, as the ATS did support the RAPC. The most common diamond seen is the Signal Corps, but I am sure some would ave worn this one too.

Generally agreed to be ATS serving with the Royal Army Pay Corps but no evidence of this has yet been found.
