Brought today but no I.D. for it. CS in wreath, possibly WW2 or later??
Could not find in Edwards & Langley
Can a member ID this please?

Looks hand sewn from an RQMS rank badge, ie Crown removed and CS stitched in.

Dont know why.

If rank related perhaps ‘CS’ here stands for Colour Sergeant? An individual alteration or peculiarity for whatever reason if crown unpicked and restitched by hand.
