Hi Kevin,

You have shown some nice photos of the various Berkshire Militia buttons.
Yes, I agree with you, the "BERKS"on the flat button is the 1st pattern, whilst the Silvered version with the "GR" cypher is as far I know the 4th pattern.

I have 23mm and 17mm versions of the 1st pattern - but both have been 'dug' and are missing their loops/shanks.

My version of the 4th pattern is 20mm in diameter but is very worn and is missing a lot/most of the silver plating.

Always nice to see stuff relating to the old home County.

Hi Ian, Yes my 4th pattern is 20 mm as well thought it a bit strange it had a Dublin back mark
