Smile Queen's Edinburgh Rifle Volunteers, The Royal Scots

Hi all,

Another Royal Scots badge. This one I believe is the Company Badge of the Queen's Edinburgh Rifle Volunteers, The Royal Scots circa 1860 (Bloomer 181). Die struck white metal with very long brass lugs (folded over).

Enjoy, cheers Dean.

I had a shudder of anxiety as I saw a reply after two reads Paul ! Even though I was pretty confident from the quality of the strike and particularly the length of the brass lugs I never post without crossing my fingers.

Bloomer says often confused with 105th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers.

All the best, Dean.
