Smile Gaunt/KSLI Collars - Nice Find..!

Hi Chaps,

I just wanted to share a nice little find that turned up recently. It is a matched pair of OSD, KSLI collar badges. The neat thing is that both have a small J.R. Gaunt London nameplate on the back, something I had not previously come across.

I have a few OSD cap badges (and collars) but none of these are maker marked, so now the task is to find a suitable cap badge with the same makers plate to make up the set. As they say - it's all about the search..!

Just goes to show that sometimes the smaller finds bring as much joy as the bigger one...

Cheers, Roy.

Shame they couldn't put where the corners couldn't be seen from the front!

Nice though, I do like collar badges.

Hi Keith,

Yes I noticed that too, odd but I guess they were struggling for space. Not too noticeable from the front though and as a collector I would rather have them there than not.

Cheers, Roy.
