Walter Dunn,14 years old soldier in the CEF....!!!
Walter Dunn, aged 14, who stowed away with the 1st Canadian Contingent, stayed with them at Salisbury and Shorncliffe, and was smuggled over to France, where he saw action and fighting at Loos. He was then attached to the A.S.C. Camp at Salonika.

There was a fourteen year old from Waterford, Ireland who served with 3rd Royal Irish Regiment. John condon died in the 2nd battle of Ypres in 1915 as a result of gassing by the Germans. He is believed to be the youngest Irish soldier to die in WW1.
