Default Anodised Cameron collars- new record ??

Did anyone else notice the pair of Cameron Highlander anodised collars which achieved £57 on E bay yesterday.

I didnt think they were that scarce, I bought a pair from the same source a year or so ago for, I seem to remember, about £10.

Anyone want a pair for £56 ?

I am after a pair of Lancastrian Volunteers anodised collars,at one stage they were easily obtained for a couple of pounds, I wonder how much I am going to have to pay now ?

P.B.

Peter,
I have a theory here, and it is only a theory and I am not suggesting malpractice on the part of any dealers, however, by 'shill bidding' you can set a precedent with price that the starter collector then thinks is the going rate.
