Question 22nd Dragoon and 23rd Hussars

I am slowly going through my collection and have arrived at the 22nd Dragoon and 23rd Hussars, I have two of each of these badges and possibly going to move one of each on.

Before I do I would value opinions on these badges as I know they have been heavily faked since WWII.

Regards Rob

Smile 24th Lancers

Thanks for that Marcus, I am not sure quite what flange fake means as it's not a term I am familiar with, perhaps you could explain?

Marcus is referring to this fillet of metal between the lance shaft and circlet.

Rob,

Have you had a look at Marcus' album (drool-worthy to say the least) of War Raised Cavalry? A lovely example of a lugged 24L on the first page.
