Default Is this WM collar badge also Berkshire?

I have never been able to find out what regiment and period and have asked on the Forum before. It does appear to be British.

Islamic badge size is approx. 38mm in diameterand weighs 20g

But i have read some where that there was a Indian Cav unit in WW1 that used the crescent and star as there emblem but only for a very short period.

I don't know what the small wm crescent is for, but the star and crescent badge shown in the reply appears to be for the 18th Musulman Rajput Infantry.

Thanks mate I could not find that info any where . People have buttons with a crescent and star and English writing on back also a British maker mark but say it's Turkish which its not ,it was worn by these chaps in the 18th Musukman Rajput Inf.

Cheers Rob
