I thought that these 'loop and blade' fixings were only found on officer's silver or S&G badges !?

I have a EARL OF CHESTER'S.I.Y with one lug and one blade and I'm sure mine is a single strike the scroll is not attached.
I will show a picture when i get home from work which will be after midnight.
