Default West Riding Regiment opinions please

Hi all
Could anyone comment on good or bad on this West Riding Regiment badge please.
Gut feeling is its not good but what do I know.

hello paul the badge imo looks alright, brazing and slider seem right, the badge appears to be "issued but not worn" probably dates between the wars (1st & 2nd) kind regards ricardo

I would echo the previous posts, and just add that the look of the reverse is probably because straight after purchase it was mounted for display purposes.

I have a couple that way - it's just that the badges look more like they did the day they were bought!

A very big THANK YOU to you all for your replies outstanding responses, I feel a lot better now knowing it is a genuine badge.

Just had the gut feeling of 50/50 I have not got any issued badges not worn so learned something new yet again. FANTASTIC

hi andyc..one post a year is not bad no seriously, I should post and get more involved with the forum, I think I might have something to contribute (been collecting badges since 1978) so..that being said, watch this space!!
