Smile Completed within 100 years !

Hi all,

At last the Northamptonshire Regiment ST to I think complete my Great War 1914 set. Think I have now replaced all the post-1914 ST and pre-war ones but have not had a final check against Westlake. Not a high resolution photo and few positions to re-adjust and straighten etc but looks better than with gaps!

Wished had added Guards now that it is done but not in its frame just yet so will see, enjoy, cheers Dean.

Dean looks good and as you point out a layman can see on most the name of the reg,t from the title! the amount of titles I have passed over when I first started to collect and now wish I had,nt! and literally given away!

Good luck on the new frames you are about to undertake wish you well billy

Thanks Andy and Billy, quite chuff to have it at back in the frame stage to be honest, I too have had many of the titles over the years and wished I and held on to them at the time, cheers Dean.

Just been advised I still have an earlier title Sussex is pre-1902 and should be Royal Sussex and may be an issue with KSLI and Ox and Bucks titles as difference in Westlake and Churchill descriptions apparently, all part of the quest really, cheers Dean.

Default 1914 line infantry set with shoulder titles completed

Hi all,

Sussex title swapped out for Royal Sussex and so think am there now with a 1914 line infantry set with matching shoulder titles. This was harder than I thought it would be. LF needs a straighten before closing in frame and might put a small card saying what they on the frame perhaps.

Now cavalry …yeomanry…guards...corps…territorials …

Cheers Dean

Is your KOSB badge unvoided? Would that be an official badge?

Rgds, Thomas.

Yes it is an non-voided KOSB Thomas as per K&K. I will need to read up then if this is an un-official badge, regards Dean.
