Default Kent Horse with raised hoof

ID varies form cyclists, VB or Dartford OTC but is being faked as this brass one shows. Looking at the badge it looks to be taken from a cast impression.

Also found with a Gaunt marked slider.

Thanks Alan…please help me out as going from memory here(which is very dangerous). Is the right hand upper hoof supposed to be separate from the left hoof on genuine badges as well?

Todd

As the ID is uncertain then I can't be certain but there is a photo of an officer's pre WW1 VB or cyclists badge on a cap on the forum that has the raised hoof.

The Cyclists /Kent Yeomanry had both on the ground.

If it is VB and/or Dartford OTC then the raised hoof may be their badge.

However this brass one or a Gaunt London in 1950s font is clearly not right for pre WW1 period.

Understood and Thank you.
I only have a Kent Yeomanry example and was curious…

Appreciate it!
