Default 2 Cdo Badge

Guys,
Please have a look and let me know what you think. Were these badges die-struck in WW2 or is this a post war commerative piece?

I've also got one that doesn't have "Commando" at the top. There's a picture in Peter Taylor's book on Special Forces insignia showing a few guys wearing them without "Commando".

yes it a veterans association commemorative badge it comes in Wm and i have seen one in silver

David this the officers version of the ww2 no 2 commando but there are loads of fakes of these.Lot of the ww2 ones were hand made although I still think some may have been machine made. Cheers, JB
