LRDG Badge on eBay
Attention all "sneakies"
eBay: 350362528699 "Buy it Now" It looks good to me.... but what do I know Comes with a good book as well.

Yes the book is v good the book is called The Kiwi Scorpions by Brendan o'Carroll, ISBN 1 870 192 41 9 £25

This badge (that was used in Brendans books) was owned by a collector Paul Farmer in AK NZ. He sold it to a NZ dealler who sold it to a well known French based collector last year - I walked up to Paul when he was getting the cash for it.... just missed out!
I have a couple of similar ones in my collection ex-NZLRDG vets. Shaun |

Any idea how many men actually served in the LRDG? I know they were from all over the commonwealth. I wonder how many veterans are still about today?

Heres a question for you.....has Brendan o'Carroll ever been a badge dealer? At a fair a number of years ago I met a dealer claiming to be the author of the Desert Scorpians?

I dont believe he has ever been a dealler but he has sold his books at collectors fairs.

When I met this person he did have a very small table with some badges on it for sale. He seemed to know a fair bit about the rarer Australian badges. The book had not gone into publication at that time. Strange that.
