The cap badge is full size Slick Mick. I have a set of all three. Some have red in the crown and some dont. You show three collars there I think. They all look the same size.

They are nice and very very rare.
I have a pair of brass collars like the enamel ones but without the scroll. Have you ever seen a cap badge for this without a scroll as per the Royal Signals badge of the time?

Default Australian Corps of Signals

Dear Mick

For once I can say I am not drooling at the Enamalled Australian Signals badges as I am lucky enough to also like Quicksilver have a full set of three
on my little web site.

Quicksilver however has kept a secret from me as I did not know he has a matching pair of the Australian Corps of Signals collars. Nice to see.

Have read on the web over the last couple of days that there was a blue enamell cap badge for Officers of the Australian Corps of Signals. Do you think this is true? I think it may have been on the Digger History site but not absolutely sure.

More please Mick.

Cheers

Chris

According to Cossum's book, there is an enameled officers hat badge (with scroll) (53mm in height).

Also, be careful with diggerhistory - it's full of errors.

I've started an Australian badge blog as well - http://www.military-badge.com. I intend that to be the premier source of information on the internet about Australian badges. I have several long time collectors helping me with pictures and information for it.

I've got an Australian Corps of Signals "The Morse Code" and how to learn it! booklet with this badge to the front with lightning bolts to L&R printed North Melbourne and dated 1942.
