RTR OSD post 1924
Good morning,
Could anyone tell me please if the post 1924 RTC/RTR (tank facing left) exists in bronze for OSD, and also is there a queens crown in bronze? |

See above. Yes there was (briefly) a Bz one facing the wrong way. The beret came in in 1925 and the badge was changed. From then on all badges were silver. There was not a bz q/c one as far as I know as by the 1950s the only headgear the RTR wore (and still wear) is the beret. Last edited by Alan O; 14-06-11 at 04:33 PM. |

Hi Guys
I was given a leather belt which was rotten and falling apart, on the belt was 15 badges and among them a WW1 Tank Corp badge makers name Lambourne & co Birmingham on the slider. Is this a known maker of tank corp badges, some very nice badges on the belt but alas damaged and held on with copper wire IE MGC cap badge New Foundland white metal collar badge with pin , suspect this is a sweetheart badge of sorts British West Indies Regiment J C Gaunt London .
