Default History of the regimental Armoured car badge

Evening All,

I found this on the web and thought I would share the link , if you copy the link it will take you to a page in the Royal Lancer Chapka journal 2019 .

This is the history surrounding the arm badge of the 12L 9/12L and the Royal lancers

Intersting.
The anodised badge ,as the item says wasnt great. Prone to scratching ,hard to find a pristine example.

Default The author

Hello

Well, this is a bit of a surprise, something I was not expecting to happen, the author of this Article is one 'RP' and that is me.

Its one of three Articles I wrote specifically for the Royal Lancers Journal 'The Chapka', 2017,2018 & 2019 so if anybody would like any further information or clarification please feel free to contact me I'll be glad to help.

Thank you to Tony, Mike & Drmiggy for expressing that they found it of interest.
That's good news indeed.

Regards
Rob

Example that I obtained from the 9th/12th Lancers PRI at Cambrai Barracks, Catterick in 1970.

Nice work Rob
Pity the Regiment didn't give you full credit with your name, but as always a well researched and informative article well done.

Best Mac
