Default Help Identifying Royal Badge

Hello All,

I have been trying to identify this badge I picked up, but have been unable to do so. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers!

Similarities to the "AP" badge shown in this thread.
Perhaps a range of badges using the same wreath and crown but with different central designs applied.

Looks Indian to me. Colonial India that is.

Likewise, and it's "identical" apart from the applied central device to the police badge that's shown in the thread I posted the link to.

Hi Dave
The badge images aren't clear enough to be sure, but to me it looks like somebody has taken the wreath and crown, removed the centre, and personalised it by adding the centre monogram. I don't think it is a genuine badge, just a made up souvenier or something unofficial.
Cheers,
Alex

Thanks very much all, I really appreciate the help. I will post some more clear pictures in a short while. There appears to be a makers mark on the back, that or some initials - S.B.V.
