late 19th c (?) uniform question?
Hello all,
Ran across this late 19th / early 20th c cabinet card illustrating a uniform tunic (khaki, it would seem) that I didn’t recall seeing before. Of particular note are the integral cartridge loops. Can anyone elucidate?

No, its an experimental pattern " frock " introduced in about 1884.
