Default 119 Infantry Battalion CEF

Here are a couple of pictures that I found, while searching for some information, on militia and CEF units from my home town area.

Hi Len, Is it possible to get a close up of the badges in the 8 Platoon image? Are the other ranks wearing the same badges as the nco's and officer?

Hi Bill
I don't have the actually photo, but I have written to the newspaper that published it asking for a copy of it,back in mid Dec., but have not heard back from them. I will be going up north this summer, and stopping in to their office to talk to them about getting a copy. I have done the best that I could to crop and enlarging parts of it, without distorting to much, I hope it helps. there was 1 picture that the site wouldn't let me upload the size was too big.

Thanks Len. Unfortunately it is difficult to see the details well enough to distinguish the patterns. Lighting plays strange tricks and a pickled badge could appear to be bright brass. There are several patterns of the 119th badge including silver officer's overlay, brass, pickled, bronze, etc.
