Eastern Arab Corps plus an/other - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

Pictured are a couple of recent buys, The sword/knife was worn by the Eastern Arab Corps, Sudan. The other badge is I think for Omani troops, but what pussels me is that is is plain with no markings. John.

The Omani badge looks like the standard early pattern that has been polished/filed down flat.

Thanks for your reply Eddie, I had it tested at a jewellers today and it tests for silver, John.

Ah - well in that case it's an officers badge - hand made in the souk from melted down coinage silver. Sad really it's been so polished. They were normally very finely finished by hand.
