Default Lancashire Fusiliers, another Victorian/Edwardian example??

This came in the post today. I have looked for signs of a removed slider but no trace. Were these badges lugged in later years or is this an early example?
Thanks,
John

Personally Not the quality I'd expect to see in a victoian /edwardian badge.

Thanks for your reply. Having just looked at Alan O's Victorian example in his album I can see your point.
Cheers

A removed slider on one of those particular badges would be most unusual, that example is, although perhaps not the best, again, fairly typical of the the regiments original cap badge, well done.

Thankyou Frank for your reply and thoughts that it is indeed an early badge,
Cheers

Whilst I agree with this, there is nothing else that I see which would make this a bad badge however.
