Hello, Can any of our Royal Navy buffs confirm if this R.N. Special Forces Petty Officer cap badge is real or not please???

The SF stands for Scottish Fisheries I believe; a CPO engaged in fishery protection duties on vessels in Scottish waters.

Gerry.

Not trying to Mussel in on the thread, but it was apparent you were Floundering for the identification.

You came to the right Plaice with your question, there's a few Dab hands on here to ask and you thought they would Mullet it over and Tope they came up with an answer.

I suppose you'll Kipper sharp look out for another one, or is this the Sole example you've seen?

When you find one Crab it quickly.

Bassically Minnow who to ask for advice.

If you do find another, get your Skates on, buy it, even if it costs a few Squid, jump on your Motor Pike and sCarper quickly because you don't know how long you'll be Whiting for another.
