Hi Guys
Can you give me your opinion on this badge Ted |

I have never seen a badge that tells you what the AAC stands for stamped in the back, and with the poor definition stamping and strange lugs makes me think it is a museum piece sold to the visitors.
This is just my opinion no offence intended. Cheer Malc

I agree with Malc. It doesn't appear to be a genuine badge.

Just imagine if every badge had on the back what regiment it was for ,the poor E bayers who sell badges and know nothing about them could not longer use the popular description " unknown badge "

I think the presence of a regimental or corps name on the back of such a badge indicates that it is a bona fide replica, rather than a forgery - surely an important distinction that should be made?

I agree with Stanley. A pucka Copy. If only all non QM issued / approved private purchase badges came stamped Copy this hobby would be more fun.
