Good evening,

it is the first time I could get a RUC cap, so I need your advice about this policewoman one. Thank You

The ones I saw were in the 1970's, all of one colour and fabric, darker than the colours shown, does this one have earflaps, a flap to come down over the neck?
Looks strange.

Could you show a close up of the badge please.

Black painted aluminium badge?
Now I've seen the "new" photos, blackened thin die stamped metal?

Like Leigh, I only remember seeing the one colour, all the same material type caps being worn.

Nothing wrong with the hat or the badge. Fairly easy to get hold off since the force changed its name. That said, this pattern with the "brushed" top was a short lived version which was used with a slightly different style tunic for the ladies. I think I have several different RUC caps somewhere in the loft.

Dave.
