Two additional badges from Down Under

While researching the badges shown in my previous post, I was reminded of these two oddities acquired 30-some years ago in Australia. The first one is still a mystery and any identification would be greatly appreciated. The second was identified by a member here as 27th Battalion, 9th Brigade, 2nd New Zealand Division, JAYFORCE (BCOF).
