Here it is. The "cap badge" is actually a small NZR shoulder title! Oddly enough the "wounding" was some cretin discharging a rifle in camp. Arthur was badly wounded in the femur and had to have his leg immobilised for the rest of his life. He was evacuated off Gallipoli with dysentery. |
