War Time and Post-war Royal Canadian Engineers Badges
Hi all, I picked up a nice selection of George the 5th variation officers badges and an early English only Canadian Military Engineers Cap and collars at todays gun show.
The gilt badge is marked JRGAUNT&SON, MONTREAL MADE IN ENGLAND. It is actually a two-part badge, crown and wreath are one piece, the vaulted annulus a separate piece. This may be Brooker 236-11-214 The OSD badge is a lovely frosted plumb colour and is one piece. This may be Brooker 236-11-216. The final badge is a early unification English-only Canadian Military Engineers badge with collars. There are several posts on this badge and I assume the badge I have is the one the other posts are talking about. Unfortunately this badge is not represented in Brooker. It was a pretty good show, bought some stuff and sold some stuff! Greg |

Hello Greg, nice badges. I am sure that the 2 GVR ones would look good in my collection
I have a bullion badge of the Canadian Military Engineers.
