Default WW1 PT badge or mid-1930s

Good day gentlemen. A question for those with the knowledge.I am offered this cap badge as a WW1 Physical Instructor....since I haven't seen any of those before I would like to know if it is a legitimate badge that could have been worn during WW1 or even during the 1920s and 1930s. All seems to be in order and,to me, doesn't look like something made up last month.....Also,if a good one, what kind of price should I expect to pay for it.
All comments will be appreciated.
Jo

Hi Jo, I'll take a stab at your badge. It looks to me to be a post WW1 badge. It a gut feeling.

cheers,

Greg

Looks like the badge pictured on page 32 of WK Cross's The Standard Catalogue of First World War Canadian Corps Badges (First Edition).

See this link.

I see no reason to think it is anything other than First World War.

Thank you very much gentlemen for your help and, after cleaning my glasses I had a look at the CEF projects and noticed that the "Canada" banner is very similar to the banner to the (30-x unlisted Babin) 1st Machine Gun Bn.interim badge without the #1.........

Again thank you.
