Mystery Parachute / European collar rank
I will try this one again in the event somebody new and in the know sees it as I couldn't get anything conclusive a few years ago. Just a straight pin for a fastener seems a little "fast and loose" for military but it's also nickel plated brass and quite well struck for a fashion badge. I've lost it in the quagmire called my desktop but it's about 45mm tall.
Also, the collar tabs are a complete mystery to me too. Any help would be great as I have to know what they are before flogging them. Edelweiss flowers?? Thanks. |

I believe the rank badges are Austrian Bundeswehr

I confirm the Austrian origin of the collar badges, more precisely Bundesheer

Thanks. Now the parachute?
Thanks to both of you. I will attempt to post a URL here for the info I found. I appreciate your help.
