Hi all, could use a hand identifying the following badges, as well as whether they are genuine or restrooms. Any help is much appreciated.

You've got too much background not enough badge for my liking, a closer and more in focus shot we ould have been more helpful if you're asking for opinions on if they are all OK and not just what they are.

Shouldn't that be Regiment Oos Rand?

Yes, it is Regt Oos Rand. Regt Wes Rand was a name used by Regt President Kruger at one time.
2.5 is specifically the Native Military Corps, one of the three corps that made up the Non-European Auxiliary Services during and after WW II. The other two corps (Cape Corps and Indian & Malay Corps) had their own badges.

I don't think to many but all done around the 1970's and 1980's and reflect both WWI and WWII South African Badges. Those that come up repeatedly (especially on a well known internet auction site) are:
Regt. President Steyn cap badge WWI SAMC double scroll collar badge (sold as a cap badge) DEOVR hat badge |
