They are the wide brass ones which is not unexpected.
Chris Marsh beleives that they were not officially made in a/a. The a/a badges are much narrower than the NY EIIR badges so are likely to be for another organisation. |

Sorry Jon delayed response but that’s a great image it looks like the TA centre in Norwich and the ORs have a backing on their cap badges that was yellow apparently it’s a period without many photos that I’ve seen anyway and loads of views bandied about in local collecting circles so very nice to see.

"Introducing our Commanders" notice board on Wall, I think shows USAF Officer's.
Maybe photograph was taken in a local USAF base! Tony.

The Norfolk Yeomanry in anodised alluminium, marked (H W Timings) and unmarked. They are of differing dies.
The image is potentially contemporary for these, although I am always slightly suspect of the unmarked variety, they may well have only been worn for a very short period, if at all of course. The taller, thinner design is generally thought to be connected to the now disbanded Royal Parks Constabulary (duties now undertaken by the Met Police). These are anodised alluminium, found in gold and silver and maker marked Smith & Wright. Last edited by bess55; 28-12-22 at 04:18 PM. |

Ah there you go, not my area, however they are found anodised alluminium silver and gold, whoever wore them - park keepers presumably.
