I was wondering if Numbers 3,11,12,and 13 were all East European badges, maybe Czech or Russian?
Also I thought numbers 19,20,21,22,23 and 27 seem Middle Eastern in origin.
Number 2 is obviously an airforce or parachute regiment badge in bullion wire but its really difficult to narrow it down for this.

Thanks
Bill

I did not read all, thus I am not sure somebody already identified number 8, but it is (modern) Indian army: The Sikh Regiment.

Thank you very much for identifying the modern Indian Army badge. It had not previously been recognized.

hi, #16 and #24 shoulder tabs look quite like Czechoslovakian inter-war.
If they're looking for a new home, drop me a line.
cheers,
s.

Thanks Beaker 123 for your input. I have tried to look the badge up online from your comments but to no avail. Is there anything more specific about it that might help?

Thank you again
Bill

Default Para Wing

Bill, could I get a better picture of #2 please. I lose detail when I blow it up, which is causing me some trouble in id'ing it from all my reference material. From your original picture, it does not look like a Para Regt. hat badge. Looks more like a white metal para qual on that scrap of material.

Thanks in advance.

Ian

5 is Egyptian infantry, 6 is some sort of Egyptian Air Force, I've seen it somewhere before but can't find the reference.

at a guess I would say 22 is also Egyptian.

Can you post better photos for 19,20, 21 and 23, it looks like they have a crown at the top.

Steve.

Hello Ian B

Thanks for your reply about number 2 the silver wings . I am attaching a much better picture as you requested minus the cardboard backing it had been mounted on.

Thanks in advance
Bill

Hello Steve

Thanks for the info on the Egyptian badges. I am attaching better quality pictures as requested for unidentified numbers 19,20,21 and 23. Also 22 which you suspect is Egyptian also. Apologies if the pictures appear in a different order to the original main set but they are all quite different I suppose when it comes to describing each one.

Many Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill,
Before posting I also tried looking in vain on line just to confirm my thought. Though I've stopped collecting ww2 Italian items I still have the collection but, along with the books, they're down south. If I remember correct the initials of the Italian ARP were UNPA but again I couldn't find anything on line. I may have the badge or one similar. Sorry for being vague but I'll continue looking
Steve

The crowns shown in the badges in post #26 looks Jordanian to me. In any case not of the Egypt republic.

Good afternoon Henk

Thank you for your input on the discussion of the anodised Middle Eastern badges. The comments on number 26 are really helpful.
