Korean War 70 Years
Gave in to temptation and finally got the Korean War pin , I know I'd have been upset if they stopped selling them and I'd missed out .

Double standards ?
I know of a few English RBL branches who have been refused permission to produce their own branch badges because they wanted to include either the RBL logo or the RBL poppy.
Perhaps they should include a photo of this badge just produced for the Larne Branch.  .

Fast delivery
Spotted this 1959-1967 Poppy and thought it would be a nice addition to my collection.
It was in Canada , ordered on the 12th June and it arrived this morning 16th which is quicker than some of the UK items I've bought.  .

Captain Sir Tom Moore
Poppyshop sold two versions (gold & silver) of this commemorative poppy pin in September 2021 , they were priced at £29.99 (plus postage) each. As money was tight I didn't buy them.
Poppyshop now have them on sale at £12.99 (plus postage) each , which is a bargain but again I didn't have £30.00 spare. I spotted a pair on line (brand new !) and picked them up for £10.00 (for the two) and that included postage ! I think the RBL/Poppyshop must have over ordered originally and were left with a lot of 'spares' which they must have sold on to dealers as a lot of them are appearing for sale.

Isle of Man set
After years of hunting and with some much appreciated help I have finally got hold of a 2015 Isle of Man "Triskelion" poppy pin.
It is a great addition to my collection and (I think) it completes the set. .

IWM Set
The Imperial War Museums produced a set of badges to commemorate the First World War Centenary , I have just got hold of the "Led By IWM" one but am still hunting for the "Gallipoli" one to complete the set.
1. Plain pin. 2. Passchendaele 2017. 3. Amiens 2018. 4. Armistice 2018. 5. 1914-1918/2014-2018. 6. Jutland 2016. 7. Somme 2016. 8. Led By IWM. If anyone has or sees a Gallipoli one for sale please let me know . Thanks !

Poppy Supporter
Just got the new (last year ?) Poppy Supporter pin , smaller than the Queen's Platinum Jubilee pin . Picked it up in a small 'job lot' and thought it strange that someone would donate to the RBL and then get rid of the pin ???

Old Wreath brooch
This was in with the Poppy Supporter pin , I think it is one of the original batch as it has a TKS (Toye,Kenning & Spencer) backmark and 'seems' better quality than the new ones.
TKS produced the official HM Armed Forces Veteran pins (lots of copies/fakes are now being sold). .
