What is meant by "mock-up" - is that original pieces but put together to make a fantasy uniform?

2 penny’s worth (or is that too much)
Hi All,
How much is too much, I just wanted to add my 2 penny’s worth (or is that too much). When I started collecting many years ago, I would scratch in shops bargain and scrap bins, would never think of paying more than 10 Rand (50p) for a badge. Then I was given my first Sgt Maj of a force badge (SA Air Force) and found out that there were only 7 badges in the set (1980’s) that was SM:SADF, SM:SA Army, SM SAAF, MAA:SA Navy, SM SA Medics, SM:Inspector General and SM:Quartermaster General. The next 2 badges I paid 100.00 Rand each for, then 150.00 Rand, now I only need 1 more (SM:Quartermaster General) to complete the set. How much will I pay for it, who knows, but please offer it to me if you have one. The only rule that I stick to is that I don’t use “my own money” to buy badges, I have to sell others to make the buying float. So if I see a badge that I want or need there is a frenzy of activity looking for something else to sell. I wish you all a great day and may all your badge requirements be bargains.
