Thanks for that, very useful- I actually opened that edition on spec. while I was searching for info on the book but gave up on trying to check through it on my phones small screen, I should've persevered.

Looks like I'll be getting a copy of "Badges of the Commonwealth's Loggies" then.

I move a few photographs between a more general album and a more specific album and I find that the original date of uploading affects the place that the photograph appears. i.e. a photograph taken four years ago will be at one end of an album and a newly taken photograph will be at the other end.

The only way round it appears to be to retake the original photographs.

Thanks for the help. I have taken several better images (after a lot of camera problems) but how do you replace one photo with another? All I can do is to delete the picture entirely and leave a gap.
It is also very frustrating that pictures appear in random order after I have carefully uploaded them in chronological order.

You have to rephotograph the badges that you want to appear together, and upload them together, it is time consuming but worth the effort.

I had a general Indian Army album but have gradually broken them down into more specific Indian catergories.

The problem comes when you acquire a badge that you need to fill a gap. You can either upload it where it will be away from a badge that it should be near, or, as I tend to do, photograph both badges together and then delete the earlier photograph. This gives the impression that anyone seeing your album for the first time thinks that you have always had a superb collection, even though the reality is very different.

I find it best to upload images one at a time starting with the image that will appear last in the album and ending with the image to appear first.

If you upload more than one image at a time, no matter how you order them they will appear in a random sequence!

As already mentioned, individual images cannot be moved or replaced and must be deleted with a new image added at the front of the album.
