The scrolls read pretty much as you have already gathered - but he's put 'Britain' in lieu of UK.

Just so everyone is aware. Craig sent me a good sized photo of the Roll. I found there is a very strong connection to the Manitoba Regiment.

As I had a long journey into work this morning, combined with the typical Monday insanity, I am simply too tired to persue this further today.

He died in of Pneumonia in 1916 while at home on leave from the 1st FA Training Depot, CAMC, London, Ontario, and is buried at St. John's Anglican Church in Sandwich, Ontario.
