Woven Indian Pegasus
Wondered what members made of this? http://www.htc.com/us/support/t-mobi...-4g/downloads/
Airborne insignia is not my thing, but I noticed this and I think its the first woven one ive ever seen. Just wondered what others thought of it... |

I have one the same, mounted on OG material with 4 press studs. It came from an ex 44 (153 batt) man. So I know its good.

This is one of my badges up for sale on ebay right now. It was part of a pair and I have the other...in fact I believe it is on my album page.
I got this as part of the effects of the late Lt Col Matthews, Indian Artillery. He had kept all the badges associated to his lifetime career...there were many scarce items...including Infantry and armoured Brigades. There were 3 Chindit badges. He was airborne attached in 1945...but not a parachutist as far as I can see from the diocuments. I tried to track down the descendents of the man (he was anglo-Indian) but with no luck. I say this because there may have been some 50 cloth Div signs...but there were some 200 photographs...half of which personal. |
