WW2 Canadian Helmet dated 1942 with unknown flash
Hello,
Does somebody can help me to identify the flash blue-white-red on this MKII Canadian helmet please? It is a small transfert which size 14mm by 11mm. J-F

That's a really sloppy paint job and the flash looks brand spanking new to my untutored eye. Might it be a modern re-paint with a modern [military or not] decal? |

Could even be a decal (applied inverted) from a 1/48th scale (or larger) construction kit of a WW2 RAF aircraft - the post 1942 tail fin marking was approximately as per that decal.

Hello Peter and Mike,
Thanks for your comments, the peint is old but not the original factory peint. I agree with you about the decal could be a RAF tail badge from a RAF plane kit... J-F
