Seeking opinions of the authenticity (or otherwise) of this WW2 Polish Air Force Officers bullion cap badge, it is in unworn condition with slight tarnishing, the backing is an oilcloth type material. If considered original, the badge will be offered for sale.

The wire weaving to the chest is a good sign, the copies are usually not as well done. I like the backing material as well.
