My Great Grandfather's old Regiment.
Also in Gilding metal, bi metal later in white metal.
Officers were slightly smaller, silver and gilt, bronze and later in silver.

Chris

Do you know how the bi-metal version is constructed?

One available now on a well respected dealers site appears to be a w/m rose collar with a gilding crown braized on top. Perhaps not the most robust form of construction.

Are they all like this?

Cheers
Mark

I have one like the one you describe, on loops, a very strong badge to be fair.
It's the S/NCO's pattern.
The one on the dealers site is a good one if I've got the right dealer ha ha

Thanks Chris. Yeah, I'm sure you got the right dealer. It's a bit pricey for me, looks a cracker though.
Thanks, I now know what to look for to compliment the OR's single metal types I have.
Cheers
Mark
